About Amy Burczyk

I have taken a number of art classes and been in a few art shows; including a 2nd grade poster contest where I earned a First Place Ribbon for my 'Dental Hygiene' poster! I have illustrated a children's book that was authored by my Mother (I'm pretty sure she's a direct descendent of Leonardo Da Vinci).

Originally from Wisconsin, I have run away to Wonderland (aka Lynchburg VA). I am addicted to ... color, coffee in the morning before ANYTHING, sketchbooks and their dirty little secrets.

My life philosophy is a combination of a ‘Forest Gump’ box of chocolates and the free will to choose the caramel.

I take a tongue-in-cheek view of the everyday world and often retell that view as would a child.  I am always amazed at the openness of children, their sense of wonder and their ability to cope in a world gone mad!

I hope to never lose my child-like sense of wonder, play and acceptance.
